Premier Houseboats are pleased to present Excalibur, a small static houseboat, completely redecorated internally and painted externally, and ready to move into. The boat had a complete hull re-plating in 2008 with 6mm steel plate. The boat was again out of the water in November 2015, when she was surveyed, repaired where needed, the hull was painted below the waterline and new anodes were fitted.
The accommodation has been rewired and plumbed, well insulated and finished, as well as being decorated and having new flooring.
Accommodation comprises a double bedroom with built in double bed and wardrobe, and a shower room with toilet and hand basin.
The galley has lots of storage, and has a small free standing gas oven with three ring hob, sink and fridge/freezer. It also houses the gas hot water boiler that provides hot water for the shower and sink.
The lounge has surprising space and has portholes that provide light and air whilst giving this area a classic look. This also houses the log burner which is the main source of heat for the boat. There is a skylight providing natural light and airflow. A door leads to a V shaped cabin, currently used for storage but could relatively easily be a 2nd double cabin.
Externally the boat has a comfortable amount of space to enjoy your surroundings, and the deck has had astro turf laid to make it easier to walk around the boat.
This houseboat has been designed to create comfortable and affordable living, both in purchase price and running costs, and is now ready for occupation.
