Toucan was CAD designed and built as a family project, with the hull built of 5mm steel.She has been extremely well thought out, and has been somewhat a labour of love, with great attention to detail and an extremely good level of finish throughout. There is excellent headroom throughout, and plenty of windows and portholes that create a feeling of space and light.
The large wheelhouse can seat six as a day lounge or dining room, and has a teak folding table. Offering panoramic views, this area is also a fantastic cockpit, enabling easy navigation which is tiller steering. It comes with compass, radio and depth sounder.
Steps lead down to a well appointed galley area, with plenty of storage and work surface, a gas oven and hob, sink, fridge, and access to engine room.
Steps lead back underneath the wheelhouse to a large double cabin, with a built in double bed with plenty of built in storage. There is a gas heater in this cabin.A door leads to the bathroom, with toilet, hand basin and walk in shower, which can also be accessed from the evening lounge.
Steps lead forward from the galley to the evening lounge, which has a diesel burner that heats most of the boat. this area has built in seating, and is again well finished and a comfortable living area.
A door leads through to the second double cabin, again with plenty of storage, a built in double bed.
The accommodation flows well throughout, providing a comfortable and well though out home whether cruising or static.
Externally there is excellent deck space, well maintained with non slip paint, and a table and chairs to enjoy the long summer evenings.
There is a washing machine, and plenty of safety equipment that comes with the boat, including co2 alarms, 3 life jackets, generator and 5 person dinghy with 15hp Selva outboard.
