Premier Houseboats are pleased to present Ness Point, a converted Dutch tug that has been converted to create a charming and fully equipped houseboat, whilst still retaining its cruising abilities. Ness Point has had the super structure extended to create extra living space, without losing her external appeal as a working boat.
Entering through a side door of the main structure, you come into a surprisingly comfortable living area, with sleeping area and small lounge. This area is light, and has a multi fuel burner as a focal point.
There is a hatch in the floor that allows access to the engine room, which houses the caterpillar 400hp diesel engine, that provides plenty of power.
From this living area you walk through to the galley. The galley has a sink, washer and dryer, fridge and a gas oven and hob, together with a good amount of storage and work space.
Steps from the galley lead up to the wheelhouse, a great navigational point which also provides another living area when not cruising, offering panoramic views around the river Medway. There is a second multi fuel burning stove in the wheelhouse.
A hatch in the floor reveals stairs down to a dressing area, with plenty of storage. From this area a door leads to the bathroom, that has toilet, hand basin, and a full sized shower cubicle. Ness Point also has an Eberspacher hot air heating system.
Externally there is good space to enjoy your surroundings, with views along the river Medway. The mooring itself allows access to the boat all year round, but is not a secure residential mooring.
The boat itself has a survey from 2007 when she was last out of the water, and is booked to go into dry dock again at the end of April to be surveyed and painted.
Overall Ness Point offers charm, surprising space both internally and externally, full cruising capability and an idyllic lifestyle.
