i have owned this scooter since october 2008. it is fully derestricted so can reach a speed of 50 mph easily. i dont like to try and make it go faster as these engines aerent really build for very fast speeds. it has been very reliable - as you would expect from a honda. starts on the electric start everytime. just had a new M.O.T. new rear shock new rear tire i have only ever used good quality low smoke oil, but scooter is still smokey when its cold, but is fine when its warmed up - you will find that all of the honda x8r scooters are smokey when they are cold. it has been fitted with a athena derestricted CDI unit, polini variator, outer pulley, and heavy duty drive belt. and a leo vince ZX race pipe (road legal) Tax runs out at the end of september. but only cost £15 for the year.
