Premier Houseboats are pleased to present Amerella, a nicely converted steel leisure cruiser, currently used as a static home but with the possibility of returning to a cruising boat. Externally the boat was out of the water in 2013 where she was painted, antifouled and had new anodes fitted. She also had a new bottom in 2009, of 6mm steel plate.
Internally. this roomy boat benefits from plenty of accommodation. The wheelhouse/galley area has plenty of fitted units and workspace, together with a full sized electric hob and oven, integrated fridge, microwave and has running hot and cold water. Stairs lead down to the large and very light saloon area, with a corner sofa, log burner, curtains throughout, and ample storage. Forward from the lounge is the front cabin which currently has two single bunks, but could easily accommodate a double V berth.Back from the saloon area is a utility area housing a washing machine and freezer. Off of the utility area is the bathroom, housing full sized toilet, shower and wash basin.
Leading back from this area is the aft cabin, with a double bed, plenty of storage and a wall mounted TV. All of the finishing internally will be done over the coming weeks. Mechanically, the boat has new shafts and props, but would need the placement of two engines to turn her once again into a cruising home. She originally ran on two Perkins 6 cylinder diesel engines. On a secure residential mooring at Port Werburgh, she provides plenty of living space, and the possibility of a return to cruising, and should be viewed to appreciate the size and surroundings, and would be a very nice and comfortable home.
